A heavier-than-air aircraft supported in flight chiefly by the reactions of the air on one or more power-driven rotors on substantially vertical axes.
Note.— Some States use the term “rotorcraft” as an alternative to “helicopter”.

Воздушное судно тяжелее воздуха, которое поддерживается в полете в основном за счет реакций воздуха с одним или несколькими несущими винтами, вращаемыми силовой установкой вокруг осей, находя¬щихся примерно в вертикальном положении.
Примечание. Некоторые государства используют термин ‘винтокрыл’ вместо термина ‘вертолет’.
